Nashville 2019

Oh Nashville, where to begin. Nashville stole my heart, my dignity, and one of my sd cards, so lots of video footage from this trip was lost. I went into Nashville not knowing what to expect and with low expectations since country music usually isn’t my thing, but I can say that I left very pleasantly surprised.

Studio 154 Luxury Hotel was nice enough to host our visit and they did not disappoint! They are conveniently located near all the major bars and restaurants in downtown Nashville and truly make their guests feel special. Check them out if you’re considering visiting!

Elyse and I originally planned our trip to Nashville for Danielle Maltby’s charity event to support Lwala, which is an incredible organization that helps ensure children in need have steady and reliable access to health, nutrition, and education. If you’re interested in learning more or donating visit lwala.org/donate!

We had a few extra days before the event and did a bit of exploring. We didn’t make it very far however, since Broadway was just a five minute walk away. (If you’re looking for a more laid back Vegas vibe Broadway is the place for you.) We did make time however for a quick photo shoot. If you’re in Nashville and looking for a professional, kind, and fantastic photographer reach out to Ashlyn Socinski!

Bar/Night Out Recommendations:

  • Whiskey Row (I personally loved this multi-level bar because each level played a different type of music so it wasn’t all country)

  • Losers Downtown

  • Nudie’s Honky Tonk (excellent live music, they did a ton of throwback covers that were awesome)

  • Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge (a classic! at least grab one drink here)

There are plenty of other great bars you can check out, these are just the ones we stopped at and the ones I can remember before the tequila took over!

Food Recommendations:

I am already planning my next trip back to Nashville so I can explore beyond Broadway and sample more of the culture and food!
